I took the day off of work and went to the Ohio State Fair with the family. The kids, me included, could not wait to ride the rides. I go on all the spinning rides with the kids because Chandra hates them.

The kids love the fun houses. They got Chandra to go in with them on a few of them. This one you had to slide down to get out. We watched the lumber jack show and the pig races. Jag stopped and looked at every model train exhibit that he could..JPG)
By the end of the day we all were hot and tired. Nothing a little ice cream didn't take care of.

What a terrific way to celebrate family. All the photos show fun, fun, fun. But, nothing completes the Ohio State Fair like a visit to the Dairy Barn. Brings back memories with our little boy.
The icecream sure looks good. Hopefully nobody had to lick it off their arms.
Just wait until next year! I'm going! I can't believe we missed this year :( I am so glad that you weren't paged via cell phone for an early exit of such a fun day..hahaha! Did you go see Smokey the Bear? That's the kids' favorite.
