Can you believe that we did not go to WDW in the year 2008. However we will probably go at least twice in 2009 so it all evens out in the long run. Little Winnie had been really excited to go to WDW and get a princess dress. She had said for a couple of months before we went that she was going to let her daddy buy her a little mermaid princess dress. The first night we were there we went to downtown Disney to buy our tickets and look around. We went into the store that sells princess dresses and she picked out this white Cinderella dress. The most expensive of the bunch OF COURSE!! Plus she needed the crown and the shoes and the necklace and the earrings.

We stayed at the Beach Club Villas. The pool is amazing. Part of it was being renovated but it still was one of the coolest pools we had ever been to. The best part is that a section of the pool is like being at the beach. There is sand all the way around it and on the floor of the pool. It is just like being at the ocean. Except for the sharks and jelly fish but you can't have everything. There is a sand dune in the middle of the pool where all the kids end up going where they can make sand castles. I am not a big fan of pools or the ocean but I really enjoyed this one. It was just shallow enough that Winnie could walk back and forth to the sand dune by herself and if you know Winnie that is a very important thing.

We were only a 5 minute walk away from Epcot. In fact we had a little trouble keeping that in mind. We seemed to end up there 20 - 30 minutes before it opened. It is a hard thing to get used to when it usually take you 45 minutes to and hour to get where you are going. One evening the kids where in their pajamas and we took them over to Epcot for the fireworks and laser show. It was great!! When it was over we just walked back to the room and didn't have to fight any of the crowd. The boat was about a 5 minute walk and it took us to Hollywood Studios(aka MGM) I hate when they change things. It took us about 15 - 20 minutes to get there. I will put up some more pictures and tell a little bit more about the trip in a later post.
